As Stagebill magazine proclaimed, Eugene Burger is "universally recognized as perhaps the finest close-up magician in the world.” His special presence has led to numerous television appearances in Great Britain, Canada, Belgium, Finland and Japan, and on such highly acclaimed shows as The Art of Magic on PBS and Mysteries of Magic on The Learning Channel. He's been profiled twice on CNN. The leading international trade journal Magic magazine proclaimed he was one of the 100 most influential magicians of the 20th century.
Eugene has been a featured speaker for top executives of such major companies as Coca-Cola, Williams-Sonoma, Unisys and Pottery Barn, as well as top business schools including Wharton, and the graduate schools of business at the Universities of Chicago and Maryland. His talk, "How Magicians Think," applies his special understanding of deception and perception to the corporate world.
"Eugene Burger's presentation, 'How Magicians Think,’ could be named, ‘How business strategists should think’. The connection of magic and strategy may seem remote at first but Burger shows how these two domains of thought are similar and how much can be gained from an understanding of their similarities. His presentation is both practical and a great example of cross-fertilization at its best.”

Lawrence Hass, Ph.D. is an internationally celebrated magician and the Associate Dean of Jeff McBride’s Magic & Mystery School in Las Vegas. After 25 years of teaching philosophy and magic performance at the university level, in 2010 he retired early as Professor of Philosophy and Theater Arts to pursue magic full-time as a performer, teacher, and author. Having won many awards for his work, Dr. Hass is widely recognized as a “master teacher,” and as one “who changes lives.” Thus, when he performs magic—often for corporate clients and university audiences—he mixes astonishing magic with ideas that lift the spirit.
Having given countless public presentations as a magician, teacher, and theater artist, Lawrence specializes in helping performers, presenters, and public speakers learn essential skills for “delivering” in front of others. One workshop experience he frequently offers is “Stand (Still) and Deliver: A Participatory Workshop to Improve Your Presentations.” http://www.lawrencehass.com/
